With times as straightened as they are, like many people we're looking for opportunities to save money without sacrificing too much. For this reason, this week, we went to Aldi to try some of their cheaper alternatives to Tescos and the like.
Tonight we tried the Oakhurst Stuffed Duck. At just £4.99 (reduced from £9.99) it's incredibly good value for a roast duck. We found it served a family of 5 easily but not by sacrificing taste. Easy to cook from frozen, taking just over 2 hours, its ideal for anyone who's never cooked duck before. Both the duck and the stuffing tasted superb, although, if I had to be critical there was possibly a little too much stuffing.
Whilst Aldi continues to offer it at this reduced price I would heartily recommend it to anyone looking for an opulent meal on a budget. Even at the normal price of £9.99, it's an easy to cook alternative to slightly more expensive products from other shops.

Review of Oakhurst Stuffed Duck from Aldi
At £4.99 this represents excellent value for money but as regards feeding 5- two would have to be vegetarians, Very generous for two, reasonable sized meal for three.
We're a family of 5 and it fed us all on Sunday. There wasn't any spare but we all ate. :)
